2002-07-31 23:54:00 | There are a lot of Applets on this site. I can't see them because I do not use a Macintosh. Please reprogramme site to use Windowlets so that PC users can see them too. D-D

2002-08-01 00:03:00 | It seems that the (vast?) majority of posters here are PC users, we can all see the applets. Ahh... but you wont allow java applets to run, right? | godfather (25) | |
2002-08-01 00:05:00 | If you have turned off java - then you won't see them. It is the way you configured your machine not the site itself. | Heather P (163) | |
2002-08-01 00:07:00 | I looked at Microsoft's Web site, and they do not recommend Java so I have deleted it. Maybe I will borrow a Macintosh so that I too can see Applets. Thanks!

2002-08-01 00:15:00 | OK, I tried Macintosh with Administrator's Java installed. It asks me if I want to delete Applet files on 210.48.100.45. There are a lot of icons in the folder. Should I say yes?

2002-08-01 00:15:00 | Statistics show that something like 11% of people disable java so websites that use it will not be viewed in it's full glory. It is irrelevant as to whether you are viewing the pages on a Mac or a PC. If you borrow another machine all it means is that the owner of it has not locked it down as tightly as you have. It is an issue of security versus usability.

2002-08-01 00:19:00 | Thank you again . I understand that the problem is both on Mac and PCs now, and there are lots of disabled Java users who can not see full gory Web . It is a concern!

2002-08-01 00:20:00 | Oh, and I ask before I borrow Mac, so that owner could unlock it for me first. | DeeDee (1290) | |
2002-08-01 00:26:00 | Have I missed? Which one is this? Macintosh shows ClassException . Error now instead of Applets . Must I reformat?
