67072 2002-07-31 11:57:00 Hi,
my problem is I have jsut completed a fresh install of XP Pro formatting the HDD first. Everything went smoothly apart from in Explorer there are no Yellow folders on the left hand pane but there are + & - signs where the folders should be. On the right hand pane the folders are there as they should be. I initially thought 'Oh a reboot will fix this' but no luck. I have tried the customise option for these folders as well but no luck. In the customise section it does show the folders as being the original Yellow ones but they obviously aren't.

any ideas? Thanks in anticipation

67073 2002-07-31 20:30:00 When things go missing in XP, I run the System File Checker (Start - Run "SFC /scannow") - put the XP CD in the CD drive first. wuppo (41)
67074 2002-07-31 22:46:00 Have you tried clicking on the + sign to expand or the - sign to contract? Heather P (163)
67075 2002-08-01 05:19:00 Hi,

yes the folders are fully operational with the - and the+ still working it's just that the yellow folders don't show in that left hand pane :_|

Will try SFC. Thanks for your comments.
