I do feel sympathy for you lot sometimes - must seem like a lot of work and effort for a free service for what must seem at times a bunch of demanding squabbling brats and cybervandals. "Hey it doesn't work! I got logged out!" "This site sux, it's too slow!' "This site broke my comp!" "Where's my T-shirt!" "I don't wanna see the ads!" "Why don't you help me?" "Where's my free computer?" Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut. Most of the time it's a joy and a wonderful resource. I've had lots of help here and try in my late newbie style to help others. | 67156 | 2002-08-05 03:45:00 | Yup, agreed there. BTW the only reason I'm not watching the ads right now is because I had to turn off Java to be able to access PressF1. It was the Ads causing me problems. Counter productive? |

| 67158 | 2002-08-05 06:00:00 | I have no problem with having a few ads on sites as people like Bruce and robo need to get paid somehow. Provided that they are noticable but not obtrusive. I hate pop-ups and pop-unders. I also very much hate those annoying ads which pop-out ontop of text. Usually right in the middle of an article. Also the ads that look like dialog boxes and the like are really really annoying. But I would like to know if it is possible to fool the advert into thinking that it has been displayed when it hasn't been. |

Some of them are actually quite good and I have click on some of the links. however If I have ever made you angry or annoyed you in any way I appologize, and hope to see you happy again. :D :D There are some many great things in life.
