| 67408 | 2002-08-01 13:10:00 | I have a PC running Windows 98 with Office Professional (Word 97). I recently loaded Openoffice from your latest CD. After playing with it for awhile I decided to uninstall it. However I noticed that despite this all my Office file icons remained associated with Openoffice EXE files. I have since changed these associations back to the appropriate Office EXE files. However now when I try to open a file in My Documents from Windows Explorer I get an error message that the file name or path is incorrect. If I first open Word or Excel and then open the file it loads without problem. How do I get Explorer to once again recognise my files in My Documents? | Grantp (1305) | ||
| 67409 | 2002-08-01 13:22:00 | Grant, You could try reinstalling or repairing your Office Pro installation. You can do this by inserting the Office CD and running the setup program and following the prompts to either reinstall or repair your installation. HTH Mike. |
