| 67255 | 2002-08-01 04:14:00 | I am using win 2k prof., Zone alarm Pro. std 56k ext modem. Recently ZA keeps reporting that "Generic host process for win 32 service" wants to access the internet with a destination IP of 65.54.249.126:80 when I feed this into my Opera browser, it finds a site with nothing but a blank page, is this another nasty Microsoft implant designed to get information about my computer or me to Microsoft. I use ADaware on a regular basis but it reports negative on any infiltrators. If not what is it all about? |

| 67256 | 2002-08-01 05:24:00 | That IP comes back as: Microsoft Corporation (NETBLK-MICROSOFT-1BLK) One Redmond Way Redmond, WA 98052 US Which is to be expected as it will be Universal Plug and Play UPnP and similar services. Look up UpnP on Google, but its not malicious and can be stopped. |
