67462 2002-08-02 02:39:00 Species change...

Driving into the city the other day, I saw a cricket ball at the side of the road.

About 2 Km closer to the city, there was another cricket ball beside the road.

Just as I got to the city, there on the side of the road was....a castrated cricket.

67464 2002-08-03 03:55:00 Why did the chicken cross the road?

A chicken and an egg are lying in bed. The chicken is smoking a cigarette with a satisfied smile on its face. The egg is frowning and looking a bit pissed off. The egg mutters to no one in particular.

"Well, I guess we finally answered THAT question!"

67466 2002-08-03 06:34:00 Yeah, well, I could have told you that one but I thought of the little geeks that might read it. Didn't want Bruce or Robo cross with me.

I've got an even better chicken joke than that, but like I say, the little geeks....

Chicken feathers used in computer

JULY 25, 2002

EVERYONE'S familiar with the computer mouse . But the computer chicken?

Researchers in the University of Delaware's ACRES program — Affordable Composites from Renewable Sources — have developed a computer processor made from chicken feathers .

The chicken-feather chip is made from soybean resin and feathers crafted into a composite material that looks and feels like silicon .

In early tests, electrical signals moved twice as quickly through the feather chip as through a conventional silicon chip, researchers said .

67468 2002-08-03 11:58:00 Oops! That address is not correct. Don't know what I did wrong?

Computer is packing a sad too, going so slow, knocked off the net a couple of times, can't seem to find the correct address now.

I'll leave it at that, with a very cross chicken unable to cross now.
