| 67505 | 2002-08-02 03:03:00 | My apologizes for the caps but it is part of the problem i think. Does anyone have a problem with Yahoo Chat I frequently, well a lot of the time when in a Yahoo chat room up pops this notice along with must close and restart my computer. I have e-mailed Yahoo help who don't reply or say they know there is a problem and are working on it. That was 5 months ago and I still keep getting the notice as [above] Does anyone know of an equal programme who does not have crashes etc. There is ICQ but that has a potential for virus does it not? I don't use chat rooms much at all - Just ocasionally for fun. Regards |

Or email program for that matter? ICQ doesn't open you up any more for viruses than your email program or Yahoo Chat would. Mike. |

| 67508 | 2002-08-03 03:43:00 | Thanks people. I reckoned the virus stuff was the same the world over. It is really the kernel.32dll thing I was worried about mostly I get the warning and buff the whole thing shuts down ie Explorer shut down. I reboot and continue but it happens again. Just wondered was it doing any harm? But i now have find pf1 and my problems are solved much better than a chat room to find answers. cheers D |
