| 67397 | 2002-08-01 10:40:00 | A CEO in a office is having difficulty with her HP DEskjet 1600c printer. The CEO's Laptop runs on os/2 version 3.0. The problem experienced is the first request, after start-up, is successful, but every subsequent print job fails. After each reboot, the problem will reoccur, starting with the one successful print, followed by endless failures. She is aware of no error message from these failures, just the lack of the actual printout. She has just recently downloaded and installed, the proper print drivers for this printer (and operating system), but with no change in the results. She has even deleted the printer installation, and reinstalled it fresh with the correct driver, but still experience the problem. She even went to the lengths of replacing the printer cable with one known to work, but the problem persists. Please guide me whaaat the potential cause of the problem may be, and provide instructions on how to resolve this problem. |
