| 67971 | 2002-08-04 03:51:00 | Can someone tell me what FSB is supported by athlon 2000+? I have one in an MSI KT3 Ultra motherboard. If I set everything to default the cpu only runs at 1250 megs. If I manualy select 133 FSB the cpu runs at 1.66 megs. So I presume that is what I should use. What would happen if I upped the FSB , say to 166? I have the choice of anything between 100 and 200. Temperature doesn't seem to be a problem. At present the cpu never goes over 40c. and the chassis 32c. This is my first assembly job and I think it would be a lot simpler if II knew exactly what I am doing. Jack |
