| 67820 | 2002-08-03 09:55:00 | After installing an 853MB hard drive (Western Digital Caviar 2850), Windows XP Home announced in the found new hardware box that the filter drivers for the drive were invalid, and the drive may not work. The drive works fine, but the message is really annoying, as it comes up every time you boot. Please help me! | George687 (1324) | ||
| 67821 | 2002-08-03 10:08:00 | Dont know if it will help, but the original driver disk is available for download at: www.storagedrivers.com There is a generic logon (drivers) and password (all) to access the file -dont enter the brackets- |

| 67823 | 2002-08-03 10:47:00 | I use win98 on it (multiboot by changing the order of boot in bios) There is no problem within win98. Only XP complains. |

| 67824 | 2002-08-04 02:53:00 | NOTE FROM ME: The drive works in XP proffesionall (on my friend's computer), and a Quantum Bigfoot 2.1GB drive in this XP Home computer had the same problem. |
