| 67652 | 2002-08-03 03:28:00 | First thing to check, have you backed the data you wish to keep??? OK might seem like a stupid question, but if you don't yet understand the process, it might pay to point that out. I don't know how much you know. How big is your drive(s), and how big are the partitions? |

| 67654 | 2002-08-03 03:34:00 | Yes , No, and Maybe...... Again, How big is the drive(s) and what size are the partitions. What's in each partition? With out some idea of what your setup is, you are effectivly asking how long an unseen piece of string is. |

| 67656 | 2002-08-03 03:49:00 | OK, i'm going to assume that 'doze is on the first partition (C) what you can do is empty out one partiition, and use windoze it self to format that *drive(s)*, which is of course how 'doze will see it. Once you have one perfectly clean space, either "D" or "E" you will be able to move some or all of what you want keep to the freshly formatted space, from one of the other partitions. Its all a big juggle, and generally is easyer to reinstall 'doze. However you will still get alot of gains by moving every out from "C" that you can to freshly formatted space on "D" or "E". |
