| 68291 | 2002-08-05 07:46:00 | I have just installed a MS Wireless Intellimouse today...... How long will the batteries last, and are there any power saving hints anyone can give me? After using an el-cheapo mouse that came with my computer for the last 18months, this intelli is pretty damned fine ! |

If you buy your batteries at the Big Red Shed they are cheap - DONT be tempted to use anything but alkaline. Transonic 14 pack of alkaline are $9.95 (but 2 weeks ago they charged me $4.95??) and I get a good run out of them, MUCH cheaper than Eveready As a point of interest, now that I use a KVM (Keyboard Video Monitor) switch, the wireless mouse wont work. Using an optical wheel mouse now. |
