68017 2002-08-04 09:13:00 hi everyone!!

i think u guys should cut "teachme"(timyang) some slack!!
u guys have been quite "stink" to him. I have been reading through some of his post and he seems a bit like a useless guy, who cant really think for himself.

I think most of his questions are genuine. (he might be a bit on the dum side i belief) but hey u cant blame a guy for being so stupid!! He is still only just a kid.

p.s tim yang no offence

I think we should help him out a bit.

68018 2002-08-04 09:48:00 ROTFLMAO.... yeah, yeah yeah

yoonboy, sure you are'nt timyang?

This forum would be better off without no-hopers like him

68019 2002-08-04 09:57:00 I don't mind helping timyang. It's just when he goes and abuses people for no apparent reason at all. Or saying that you didn't help him even though you put down the best that you could.

How do you know? Just because he says he is doesn't mean he is.

68022 2002-08-04 13:12:00 in this thread i bent over backwards (pressf1.co.nz) to help
when asked if timmy could format AND keep software,
Heather put in the time to explain
>>Formatting completey removes everything on the drive and replaces it with a nice big empty space.
>>You will lose windows.
>>You will lose all programs.
>>You will lose all data.

i responded to the obvious lack of grasp on what "format" means with this

>>Normally we only defragg BECAUSE the operating system and/or programmes are getting so screwwy that it is time for a total clean out. Then we reformatt, and then reinstall everything.

>>To compare it to a building, reformatt is the equivalent of running a bulldozer through the land and rebuilding. This may be easyer if the building is structurly rotten, but a silly thing to do to fix a hole in the wall or a leaky tap.
only to be asked again if it was possible to keep windows

Between us both i think we had made the concept pretty damn clear
the next timmy post was timmy wallowing in self pity & stupidity, same again, then
>>>thankyou darling you are so helpful
>>>can i delete everything without losing my windows?

to quote myself
>>Teachme/timyang
I am happy to give my time and take you seriously IF you make the effort yourself. However if you ask anymore questions on this topic that show you have not read what me or others have bothered to tell you, i shall do what most everyone else has done and give up on you.

Timmy, and I KNOW you will read this...
I HAVE GIVEN UP
STOP WAISTING MY TIME
YOU ARE PISSING ME OFF
YOU ARE REDUCING THE CHANCES OF THOSE WHO GENUENLY WANT HELP GETTING IT, AS THOSE WHO GIVE IT WILL HAVE LOST PATIENTS WITH YOU.

68023 2002-08-04 13:14:00 i hate quoting my mistakes, as in the previous thread,
>>"Normally we only defragg"
read reformat, where i typed defragg
