I can stick my shortcuts on there instead of cluttering up my desk top - and it only takes 15 max. Yes, I have heard of favorites - it is this folder on my desktop that now overflows with so many entries (257 files in 62 folders) that I can't never find nuthin'!
No, I haven't seen the top of my desk for some time - I think it is oak. Carpet, what carpet? Who's untidy?!!

I don't really see the point in http://localhost unless you're running your own webserver.

Which I am :) Apache with PHP and MySQL - I use if for offline website testing.
