| 1284928 | 2012-07-01 06:52:00 | You probably don't wanna be calling from a Tablet. I've tried it. It's far from idea. Great if you wanna do it on the *very* odd occasion... Nexus 7 doesn't have 3G built in. EDIT: Also some will let you SMS from them, like the Acer Iconia, but the others I've tried like the Galaxy Tab and the Motorola Xoom don't. |

| 1284931 | 2012-07-01 16:36:00 | Interesting statements here. I know the Nexus doesn't support any 3G or 4G ability, but it will have Google Voice in it. It works very well for me all over the CONUS. |

| 1284932 | 2012-07-02 07:40:00 | thanks for all your advice guys i appreciate it im still at a bit of a loss as to what to do though :( there seems to be a few options on trademe for this type of thing but they seem to be rather unsupported and dont come with access to the "google play store" which leaves me to question whether or not they are in fact legit copy's of android o/s's..... very confusing. i found this and would have happily settled for it but alas im too late and the deal is now closed!!! www.yazoom.co.nz bugger.... anywho anymore advice on what i should get or where i should be looking are much appreciated i dont mind looking like a dweeb talking on a tablet its o.k. :) |

| 1284933 | 2012-07-02 07:46:00 | I would say wait untill you can get your hands on the new nexus7, it has made every other cheap android tablet pointless, I would go one step further and say its made every other android tablet redundant. | plod (107) | ||
