1284244 2012-06-27 23:07:00 WD TV Live, or variant thereof. I have one, works really well. trig42 (11325)

We have an Xbox 360, but using its extender functionality is near useless because my brother's PC is connected to the same TV as well as a monitor...

1284246 2012-06-27 23:54:00 I have a media pc so an extender would be redundant. I have tried an XBox 360 as an extender with a media centre pc as the source, that worked really well except format support was limited a bit. I think the WDTV live network media player might be a good option, I have the older non-network one and it's a really nice player that does just about anything, the only playback issue I ever had was a 1080P MKV with audio sync issues - but it was just the one file. dugimodo (138)
1284247 2012-06-27 23:57:00 Thanks for the info.....reviews appear mixed bag really, something to do with slow start up and scrolling of media?....however at $135, I think we are on the right track! SolMiester (139)
