But you'll see it, if you go to start / then press right mouse button / then click on all apps, bottom right. Its in the menu. The end row Yup. There it is alright. Thanks speedy. |

If I put cursor in top right and go to search, and they're all there . Good . I don't know if 8 is better than 7, but it's new and glitzy . I like that . |

On a machine that has an SiS 900 Ethernet NIC, Windows 8 didn't have the drivers but after using a USB WiFi adapter I downloaded the Ethernet drivers from Windows update. A bit silly! Can't say I think much of it, it's just basically Windows 7 with added crap. Windows 7 is better, XP even more so. |

| 1308725 | 2012-10-27 10:07:00 | Linw -- A long shot - just something to try with your IE - press the Windows + R key, type in iexplore -extoff Press Enter, Does it open ? If you wanted to uninstall, then re-install IE10: go into the control panel / Programs and features/ Turn Windows features on or off, untick IE10, Click OK, restart the PC, go back and tick it again to re-install it. |
