I can't think of a single 'unrests' place in the world without US involvement. Can't the US just mind their own business? I'm glad the US didn't mind there own business in WWII or else we would be living under a swastika or the house of the rising sun. :) |

I believe Dotcom is quite skilled at hacking - he might prove you right. Ewan McDonald ... didn't think the jury was back on him yet ... |

| 1284449 | 2012-06-29 05:27:00 | Korean war? Really? The North invaded the South and the US honoured their agreement. They didn't even get oil out of it :p OMG. North Korean invaded the South! South and North Korea was one nation, and that's their own internal affairs. Even if that's correct, what the hell was the US doing in Korean? What the hell was the US doing in Vietnam? Similarly, South & North Vietnam is also one nation. Get lost, the US! And what the hell is the US trying to do in the South China Sea? What about Iraq? Is Iraq a more peaceful place to live than before the US invasion? Look at Afghan, what's the situation now? US, please mind your own business and leave others alone, they have the wisdom and capability to settle their own internal affairs. |

The US was not in Korea in its own right, but as part of a United Nations multinational force. This came about as a result of a crafty vote in the UN when USSR was absent, otherwise the Ruskies would have said 'niet'...and used their right to veto. Be that as it may, I just cannot see the US just lying down because of some ruling in a court of some little tinpot country at the other end of the world. Hell, 99.9% of Americans wouldn't even know where or what New Zealand is. Even now I expect McCully to be summoned to meet with the US ambassador where he will be given 'the works' and told to get it all sorted out or else........... :devil |

| 1284454 | 2012-06-29 06:25:00 | I wonder whether Kim was expecting a episode of Boston Legal ... I could just imagine Cpt Kirk up there pleading that the District Court Judge who signed the initial warrants .... Your Honor ... it's obvious to any lay person that the individual concerned suffers from mad cow disease Paul Davison QC was not quite up to the theatrics ... but geeze ... did he use some choice words ... even the Justice had a little smirk on her face at one point. Ah well ... at least the Gummernt can sell off the naval boats to cover the compensation claim ... all the bloody sailors are going to be working in Ozzie mines ... :D |

| 1284455 | 2012-06-29 07:39:00 | Is it true that the New Zealand Police are about to be sold to the FBI? They seem to take orders from the Yanks. | mzee (3324) | ||
| 1284456 | 2012-06-29 07:49:00 | NZ police carried out the illegal raid so they should pay compensation. If they choose to do the FBI's bidding then they must be prepared to pay damages for wrongdoing. | nerd89 (14761) | ||
