1284429 2012-06-28 22:33:00 Regardless of the court finding, the fat Kraut is still as guilty as sin :( :(

He knew exactly what megaupload was used for. I knew, we all knew .

Regardless, NZ is going too come out of this looking like some backwater, inbred, banana republic with the way we handled this, and the way we raided his mansion.

And I'm sure that D-Link knows that some people use their routers to download or upload illegal material. Does that mean D-Link should stop selling routers? Or that D-Link should be sued because they provide a product that can enable illegal filesharing?

Following that logic - the sky is blue, the sun is shining, therefore I must drive a Morris 1300 :( :(

Not sure exactly how you thought that one up...

Megaupload was simply a filehosting service that could be used for any kind of filehosting, legitimate or illegal. There is nothing inherently illegal about providing filehosting.

Apparently not when it comes to being accused of anything piracy related. Remember how the 3-strikes law works?

1284435 2012-06-28 23:29:00 I know it's off topic ... but the Government must also be guilty by association with their ultra-fast broadband roll-out promises ... Councils for giving resource consents for letting the work be done ... Oh .. and lets not forget the local Iwi ... they own the land, water and airways ... don't they ??

And I'm not racist ... I had to agree with Hone last night after being questioned about whether beneficiary's should be tested for drugs ... his comeback ... maybe they should use a breathalyser on the MP's in the House ... Choice Bro ... fine them $1000 each and disqualify them from Parliament for 12 months ... :devil

Beneficiaries should definitely be drug tested. Hone doesn't want it just because everyone in his [expletive deleted] electorate are beneficiaries, so he has to oppose it.

Can't we disqualify them for 1000 years and fine then 12 months income, not the other way around :D
