1284847 2012-07-01 02:22:00 Fring looks promising . . . Wasn't under the Ovi Store but I could get a direct download from Fring .

Fring used to be able to call Skype users at least in 2004 but since then I guess Skype wasn't happy with that .
I don't really use a lot of apps and don't care about the GUI, I only use Nokia b/c of the offline maps and being able to search for POIs and get voice guidance . All I need is a email client, web browser and a voice chatting software .
Grabaseat app seems to be working now, dunno why . . . . .

Anyone used Microsoft Lync . . . .

1284848 2012-07-01 02:26:00 I use it all the time when I call my Galaxy S3 in Hong Kong although all my friends tend to have Viber so I use that as well to make calls Ninjabear (2948)
1284849 2012-07-01 05:56:00 Phew . . . seems like Skype now works while trawaling thru he net . It was a file for a diff model Nokia which they popped on Ovi but withdrew it .

The same thing I found with Nokia Anna . Ovi just didn't provide Skype but you just had to try out diff versions out .

And Fring now doesn't work anymore . eBuddy does but that is just texting .
