| 1308828 | 2012-11-01 02:17:00 | Wouldn't creating a new account and deleting the old one do the trick? I realise the contents of my documents etc would have to be transferred manually but everything else should work yeah ? | dugimodo (138) | ||
| 1308829 | 2012-11-01 02:39:00 | Deleting the Account, and making a new One would remove some of the mis-spelt account details, but there will be many still in the registry. ( which is what pcuser42 mentioned) | wainuitech (129) | ||

Do you think it is safe to leave my data hdd to do the installation or it's better to disconnect it? It's 99% safe but I would disconnect just to be sure. Also you avoid the possibility where Windows setup decides to add the boot support folder etc onto your drive just for fun. With only one drive connected it only has one choice! |

| 1308834 | 2012-11-01 08:48:00 | What is the easiest way to take ownership of folders/files in Win8? I've installed the 'take ownership' utility but everytime when I copy a file to my Data HDD folder, a window pops up : "You'll need administrator permission to copy to this folder. Continue - Skip - Cancel". Click Continue will complete the copying. It's annoying. |
