| 68530 | 2002-08-05 23:37:00 | I have a Diamond MX400 sound card that XP won't recognise - it detects a canyon ES sound card. I have not been able to locate XP drivers for the diamond card on the net to date. Problem is the surround sound feature of the MX400 will not work in the configuration XP has set it up under. Any suggestions on where to find the Xp drivers for the card or a fix for this problem?? | angusmace (1362) | ||
| 68531 | 2002-08-06 00:00:00 | hey there Angus are u refering to the Diamond Monster Sound MX400 if so. i went to the Manafacturers site which is www.sonicblue.com and they don't appear to have XP Drivers which is odd just Windows 9x\2000. so ur chances of findong a XP driver for ur card are very slim if the makers don't have it. if u wish to look go to www.sonciblue.com then click on the support button and select diamond Multimedia. sorry i couldn't be of much better help! James. |

You may be able to use the Windows 2000 drivers but I don't think they are much better. BTW the Diamond MX400 uses the ESS Canyon 3D Chip. You could try Here (www2.driverguide.com ) which may help. Cheers, Babe. |
