68658 2002-08-06 08:10:00 A friend of mine recently bought Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, and got an error message, about openGL drivers. His graphics card is an NVidia Riva TNT2 64, the same as mine. He is running Windows XP, and several other openGL games refuse to run. He needs drivers, for Windows XP, but he's unable to locate them. Some help would be much appreciated.
PS: He signed up for an account here, but he cannot log in.
Thanks in advance.

68659 2002-08-06 08:30:00 I think the usall answer is to install the video card drivers again.....

A video card like that would support OpenGL.

if the game still wont work then i would look at the game makers web site.

68660 2002-08-06 08:41:00 go to video card manafactures site and download drivers. if manafacture is unknown then try nvida's reference drivers (www.nvida.com).

at a guess your friend hasn't got and installed the manafactures drivers. have a look on the web for new drivers for all the pc parts.

why do people assume that windows cd has all the drivers on it? ?:|

no offence to mejobloggs but you never know....

besides i would like to see what mejobloggs has to say as it may help the next person who asks that same question.
