68538 2002-08-06 00:46:00 I am trying to make a 2 sided newsletter - landscape orientation - with two "pages" on each side. ie. 4 individual "pages" which will be altered each week. Do I make these separate pages as separate files and how do I print them out onto the one page? I have tried doing it as "Book Style" but I think I am missing something somewhere. Any help appreciated thank you. denise (1155)
68539 2002-08-06 00:56:00 Select the landscape mode from page setup, then from the toolbar select the columns option and select two columns wide.

Depending on the content, you may find it easier to have 2 files, one for each side, otherwise just run 2 pages deep. It can be a cow to juggle content as it spills from column to column over 2 pages, especially if the content should not flow over.

68541 2002-08-06 05:40:00 If your newsletter is going to be folded to make a booklet you're going to have to remember which page goes where.

Pages 1 and 4 will go on one side and 2 and 3 on the other.

And if you set up columns like godfather suggested, remember to allow sufficient for the margins between the two columns. Word will even put a vertical line between them if you wish.

68542 2002-08-28 12:45:00 Hi...You could try inserting tables with invisible lines, by inserting three tables with a thin middle table to act as a separator, leaving the side tables (which you can change a individual cell width for effect) for editing. This will produce a column effect.
Then photo-copy the completed sheet in duplex mode, or if duplex is absent photo-copy your tabled sheet, reverse(and/or rotate) to feed it back in manually to photy copy again the other side from the original. We had at work, produced a multi page two-sided booklet this way, by using our photo-copier...
