| 69106 | 2002-08-08 10:27:00 | >>Robo seemed quite happy considering he made a funny comment >>himself and didn't start posting a "hang on fellas, calm it down" post. that could just have been robo not listening to his faithful PressF1ers putting someone down for no apparent reason. Also it is fair enough what Bruce has said. What some of us have been doing is the same/worse that what timyang originally did. |

| 69107 | 2002-08-08 22:06:00 | >Where does this country find all it's wowsers & bleeding hearts? Don't know. What I do know is that we want to keep PressF1 friendly so that it's intended audience, people looking for help, feel free to post questions. Threads that indicate that you might get dumped on for appearing "dumb", are not helpful to that cause. I'm not saying you can't have a go at someone who is being a total pratt, you'll probably have to stand behind me in the queque, (and Tim has pretty much deserved much of what he has got) but when you slip into stirring the guy up on sight, you've ended up doing what he did. And after a while it just sours the whole forum. So let's try and keep it civil and if someone is being abusive and disruptive let Rob or myself know. |

Look, you all started there too, and did some dumb stuff, It wasn't long ago I did that too, and probably still do, but hey, ya gotta learn. Good on ya Tim for asking your questions here, don't let these guys phase you, their bark is a whole lot worse than their bite, seeing as they have no teeth, you'll be fine. Chilling_Silence BTW, I'm not trying 2 b a kill-joy, but be easy on him, but I guess the sayin goes: GIGO! |
