| 69804 | 2002-08-10 00:30:00 | Using Ontrack's Powerdesk synchronise to tidy up one of my backup CD's I managed (!!!!) to remove some important files. (Brilliant!) How can I unerase them? Norton's doesn't seem to recognise my drive `D'. All help much appreciated. | kbcad (1025) | ||
| 69805 | 2002-08-13 08:50:00 | Hi I dont have Powerdesk nor any Nortons utilities so it's a bit hard to understand what you mean. When you say Norton is unable to recognise the D: drive, are you meaning you cannot see the CDROM device at all or just that particular CD? I believe Easy CD Creator 5 platinum has an undelete facility but I have never used this feature so cannot comment on it's effectiveness. I can't see an equilavent in Nero. If you have over-written data on the CDRW since this problem then you may be out of luck. Best bet is to use CD Recovery software. Maybe someone else has other ideas on resolving this. |
