Did you go s-video to s-video? or s-video to RCA? Only the first will work, because of the way s-video works - if your s-video to RCA cable has two RCA plugs what it does is splits colourants to one plug and luminants to the other, and it sounds like all you got was luminants. You'll either need to plug into a s-video plug, or find another way to plug into your tv (probably RCA-RCA would work best, if you've got an RCA video out on your laptop). Mike. |
