69852 2004-04-22 19:20:00 actually metla I havent made millions as of course if you know anythign about lotto you will realise that it's not possible to 'beat' the system . you can reduce the odds considerably in your favour tho, I won $5000 about four months ago and several of my customers have won more than me lol . The site and the program are the logical outgrowth of a few of the systems I originally created . In 1991 I started designing systems and a few months later created a book of systems 'NZ LOTTOLOGIC' I then tried to get it published, and nearly succeeded but in the end i advertised and marketed it myself and sold several hundred copies made quite a few thousand dollars from that too :-) . Have had many re-enquiries and replys from folks who bought the book saying how great it was and did I haev any more systems for sale and that they'd been winning much more often etc etc . I decided to get a puter and try to teach myself how to write programs so that the systems would be very user friendly etc . Started with a commodore (lol) racing beast taht was too and BASIC . That program I mention on the site is my first effort at programming in Delphi, took me about three months to create from scratch starting with no knowledge of Delphi at all so I'm quite proud of myself for that . I've been very lazy with the site tho and haven't updated it for about 3 years . Heres a link to download the demo verison of the program if you like is only about 160kb .

69854 2004-04-22 22:26:00 How do you go about 'self hosting' a site ? drcspy (146)
69855 2004-04-22 22:33:00 easy, i have a server, on my home network and i have opened up ports on my router to allow http in to my server, and i have my own website. then i joined up with no-ip to have a domain (free)
