| 69907 | 2002-08-10 01:57:00 | Hi, I just got a new radeon 8500, after installing the driver for Win98, it refuses to boot up saying something like this: "Real mode system memory allocation failed." and freeze afterwards. In WinXP (I got dual OS) it works perfectly. I got this problem before with the old vid-card (GF2MX) when installing new driver, but then I just have to install back the old driver. I have try to install the newest driver from ati.com, but it still showing the same error message. Please help, I got a few application that needs to run in Win98. Thx! |
