| 69752 | 2002-08-09 11:31:00 | My screen (Phillips 107T) It is currently running at 60HZ (1024/768) and I would like change it to 85HZ (1024/768). Is there simple way to configure the x-server to do this? Cheers Liam. |

| 69753 | 2002-08-10 02:14:00 | Hi Liam, A relatively simple method would be to open a terminal window, su to root and then run Xconfigurator. During the initial set-up Redhat 7.3 should have selected the optimum settings for your video card and monitor, but this should take you through the set-up again. |

| 69754 | 2002-08-10 02:57:00 | You probably won't need this, but ... Sometimes when setting up a monitor you get into a potentially destructive mode. The emergency shutdown for X Window is Ctrl/Alt/Backspace. Thought you might like to know this ;-) |
