| 69641 | 2002-08-09 06:28:00 | hi guys, i got a weird problem in win2k server. I was installing sql server and after the pc restarted i keep gettin weird message saying that my page file is too low eventhough it's set correctly. It wouldn't wanna change to any value at all. Now I can log on as admin account but i have no admin rights. I can't start or stop services as i keep getting access denied. I can open and delete files no problem. I can't also set up active directory, etc.. I'm thinking along the installation something went corrupted? or is there a solution for this? thanks. |

| 69642 | 2002-08-09 11:52:00 | yer sounds corrupted. Or a virus perhaps? anyway ur best bet is a reinstall unfortunatly. once with my dad's machine (win98SE) each time we booted up more and more filse corrupted, until we had to back up to Zip disk at the speed of a floppy drive. Brendon ;/ |
