70165 2002-08-11 06:56:00 Does anyone know how i can completely flush out my entire system, i mean clean it up and put it back to its original settings?

I've done defrag, scandisk and all that, but it still comes up with errors and is pretty slow, i still want to keep all the stuff i have on it now though.....

thx, ben

70166 2002-08-11 06:59:00 back up all the stuff you want to keep and reformat, then reinstall windows.

you will need your windows CD and all driver CD's before you start.

I think there is a FAQ around the board that has more info.

70167 2002-08-11 08:02:00 you can only clean it up so far ,I use Fix-it Norton 2002 and pestpatrol and diskeeper to defrag , ad-aware and windowwasher and regcleaner are good as well. kiwibeat (304)

GoBack allows you to revert the entire hard drive to virtually any moment in the recent past – five minutes, five hours, even five days ago . You can also retrieve individual files or directories; even those emptied from the Recycle Bin .
