| 70127 | 2002-08-11 05:00:00 | My sis-in-law has just told me that after updating her MSN,she can no longer access MSN to chat to us.Have done a search here and on Google to try to find a site she can download a previous version from.Is this a good idea?She's got Win95.Found a reference on F1 but the link wont work!Ideas please! | 70128 | 2002-08-11 06:30:00 | Hi Neil, I had the same problems with the latest MSN version on Win 95. We now run version 3.6, which is available from www.oldversion.com Just tell your sis in law to refuse any updates and everything should work fine. Bye for now, Antonia. |

| 70130 | 2002-08-12 01:07:00 | My neighbour uses Win95, and every few days MSN decides to fark itself over (the latest version...don't worry about this if you're going to use an older version). If you go into the Control Panel, and then Add/Remove programs, select MSN Messenger, and click Add/Remove, and uninstall it. Then go to http://messenger.msn.com/ and download the program, but Save target as... instead of just Open. This way, the next time MSN stuffs up, you just uninstall, and then install easily, instead of redownloading it. | Hervard (405) | ||
