70123 2002-08-11 04:17:00 I am trying to install the USB drivers for a Sanyo VPC-MZ2 digital camera.
Instructions are simple enough: connect the camera to the computer via the supplied USB cable. Set the camera to PC connection and turn it on.

Then the add hardware dialogue is meant to open but doesn't. (The camera is added as a removable drive).

Is it possible the cable is faulty and can I check that out?

When one opens the add hardware and selects imaging device you are presented with a very thin list of cameras - 2 to be exact. Clicking have disk does no good.

Any thoughts on how to get the drivers installed would be appreciated.

I am running Windows 98SE

Thanks

70125 2002-08-11 06:01:00 You have to load the software off the cd first. Then when you plug in the camera it will recognise it. wotz (335)
70126 2002-08-11 10:12:00 Wotz. It always amazes methat when you load something into the computer, like that CD for instance, that the M/c will always find it. I have this vision of pouring a cup of water into a bucketful of water & trying to find it again!!! Poppa John Poppa John (284)
