| 69954 | 2002-08-13 00:58:00 | To Heather P, Graham Petrie, Poppa John, Capt Jimbo, godfather. Thank you all for your interest .:-) I do have a Zap catcher complete with 3!!! Lights. ( Heather dont go standing on too many ships!!)Were you a Sea Scout? When I checked the calculations all seemed to be in order, Graham, the copy/paste to a new SS has been successful ( thank you Jimbo for your offer of help):-) Godfather, How do you know what the Captain was thinking ? Poppa John I seem to be a Tortoise that has got hold of a Hare which gets away from my old creaky bones.:_| A further possibility ? I was discussing the problem with a friend experienced with computers and he suggested that I might have inadvertently formatted some columns/rows while enlarging columns to fit the texts/numbers or setting borders etc. I do now, recall that on occasions the SS would for some reason get its self down and out and out to Row3000/ColumnFZ. If one is not concentrating, complete columns/ rows could be highlighted thus causing the problem? G.W.:-):-):-) |

Yes, if you had highlighted a column or even highlighted the entire sheet, then changed the formatting (perhaps the font colour to green or whatever) or accidentally put a full stop (or similar) in a far off unused cell... that could have caused it. Copying and pasting only the required fields then would have solved it. In far off days I was a Brownie. In more recent times a Girl Guide Leader. My husband went through Scouts (and was the first male Brownie Leader in Auckland) |
