| 70258 | 2002-08-11 22:32:00 | I have XP Professional Installed....All of a sudden my dial up connection is failing....The Modem dials...but the message "Unable to establish a connection" appears I have installed a new dial up with another ISP but it fails also I have uninstalled Nortons but that hasn't helped I can establish a connection on a separate partition with W98 installed Any ideas.thanks |

| 70259 | 2002-08-11 22:36:00 | I had the exact same problem after I installed XP on Saturday. I installed multiple different drivers for it, but none worked. Yesterday when I tried to connect, it connected first pop. I haven't had a problem since. You should try that if you haven't already. If that doesn't work you could always remove the modem from the device manager and then reboot and reinstall the drivers. :) |
