70458 2002-08-12 13:03:00 When receiving auto forwarded mails from my work PC to home in OE it shows my work email address as the sender. Unfortunately on a lot of occassions there is no reference to the initial senders address.
Is there a way around this?

70459 2002-08-12 13:50:00 forward the email as an attachment.
That way you will see it in it original form rather than simply

an email
from someone to 12,000 differant people
header this
blah blah that
subject: fwd this is really funny

original message:
>an email
>from someone to someone
>header this
>blah blah that
>subject: This is really funny

>blahh blahh blahh

70461 2002-08-12 22:04:00 Thanks guys - both these solutions work if manually forwarding but I have it set in Outlook Express to auto forward when received so I can't follow your suggestions Greg (193)

There should be (I think) an option in Outlook Express to send forwards as attachments by default. Try Tools > Options menu (Sorry I don't use OE, so I'm not sure if this will work).

A simple solution, but totally lacking in style!

By right clicking on the message and then selecting Properties you can access the details box that will give you all of the addresses that the message has gone through.

If you don't like the 25 mm square advert, you can always upgrade to the paid version. :-)
