| 70451 | 2002-08-12 12:23:00 | I have some doc. files that open up with a warning about containing macros. They were created by another person & I no longer have a contact to ask him what he put in them. Have run Nortons anti virus & found no virus. Is there any way to view what the macro is and remove it from the document file? | Peter M (852) | ||

If you dont understand VBA, which I suppose you dont since you werent sure where macros are, then you probably wont understand what they are doing. Not all macros are bad, but if your unsure you can delete them. However, backup the Word doc first just in case they were actually doing something useful for you. |
