2002-08-12 02:48:00 | i have a small collection of old monocrome monitors, and have a severe space shortage. If anyone within easy driving distance of my inner CHCH cave wants them, please email me, otherwise i shall take them to molten media. for my email address see homepage in personal profile. | Chris Wilson (431) | |
2002-08-12 03:11:00 | have you thought about donating them to a local school? even if they can't use them for working on, they might come in handy for taking apart ;) schools are terribly short on budgets for IT gear, so I'm sure your goodwill would be appreciated.

2002-08-12 03:21:00 | i could do that... perhaps i should mention that most, if not all, do actually go, and i think there are 5, i'm just digging them out now. some have the older connecter d9 or whatever it is. I'm not even sure of quantity as some are just under a pile of rubbish in a store room i wish to empty. i think the total is 5 units. Of course my only selfish motivation is to get rid of them, so if anyone wants to find a good home for them, just let me know. Anything considered, so long as it isn't a long drive, or the new owner is prepared to pick them up. A school would be fine, although what i had in mind was someone who would actually be able to use them for what they are.

2002-08-12 03:31:00 | Make them into letterboxes and sell them. As letterboxes I'm sure you can flogg them off for an outlandish price ..... | Biggles (121) | |

2002-08-12 06:09:00 | I would not recommend donating to a school for disassembly! If you're the sadistic type, then yea, but I know from personal experience, anything with a CRT is dangerous! | Elwin Way (229) | |
2002-08-12 06:27:00 | Also, see my post about fishtanks (pressf1.co.nz). :D | Elwin Way (229) | |

2002-08-12 10:38:00 | na -=JM=-, no color, i think one of them is green, but most are full glorious monocrome!
