70835 2002-08-13 22:45:00 Hi there

I am trying to view a file that has a Tiff attachment but cannot. Can anyone recommend a viewer or whatever I need to view a TIFF file.

Thank you in advance

70836 2002-08-13 22:47:00 I'm not sure if ACDsee has tiff capabilities. If you have a PCWorld CD, install a trial version of PaintShop Pro and load it with that. Elwin Way (229)

AcdSee opens TIFFs, no probs there.

70839 2002-08-14 07:46:00 Be aware that there are some "special" TIFF formats. Some of the digital cameras use an extended TIFF format that without their "viewer" you can't view. I think there are viewers other than these available but I never seem to be able to get them to work. Fuji digital cameras have this format, as well as others formats. The pain is that when you want to convert their format to another the choice is very limited.

70840 2002-08-14 12:36:00 Irfanview will read TIFF and a lot of others and convert a number of different picture file formats. (iview375.exe 808 K in file size.)
