| 70881 | 2002-08-14 03:23:00 | When ever I open explorer in win98 it will have it open in the windows/start menu. When I click say the c drive to select it, it will select it, then automatically select the windows/start menu. So you have to again scroll up and select the c drive a second time, which then works. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for taking the time to read this post, much appreciated. Andrew Winks |

| 70882 | 2002-08-14 03:35:00 | Right click the shortcut on the desktop for explorer, and select properties. In the "Target" box you will see some "switches" after explorer.exe. Write down what you have now, then delete the extra characters (e,","/ etc). These switch commands control how it opens. If you get it wrong it will tell you and you can go back in and correct it. |
