| 71246 | 2002-08-15 06:37:00 | hi, i have just swapped from win95 to winXP i had utilities for syquest drive ( win95 ) .Now when booting i get a message saying slave drive error, and it ejects the disc. where do i get the utilities for win XP to enable the drive to work. the obvious answer is to revert back to win95. but...i don't really want to, but i have a lot of stuff on the disc's. |

Looks like SyQuest filed for Chapter 11 (bankruptcy) a while back, sold what it could to Iomega, and they don't mention Syquest on their web site. Have you considered multi-boot so you can get the data off? Or maybe see if you can find an NT4 driver and see if that works. Doesn't look good. robo. |
