| 71494 | 2002-08-16 04:59:00 | After closing my PC down the other day it will not re-boot.It gets to part way through the Windows 98 screen and just stops dead.I re-installed Windows off the CD that came with the PC.It said there was several problems with various things as it re-installed but it repaired all these as it went.Got to the end and went to re-start and it did the same thing,just stopped dead with the Win 98 screenshowing. | Hamster (1523) | ||

| 71497 | 2002-08-16 05:22:00 | Use F8, and this should get you a menu with Safe Mode as one of the options. I suspect that you will be reinstalling Windows. Have you got a MS CD for it, or is there a "company" recovery CD? |
