| 71411 | 2002-08-16 02:47:00 | Have Compaq Presario and have gone from 64 to 192 of ram which now shows as 184 in system properties, as some is shared. In device manager it has a small exclamation mark showing beside "system board exten for ACPI BIOS ......do I need to update something, ram was fitted by Compaq and am told Ram fitted is correct one. | loftyboyd (1310) | ||
| 71412 | 2002-08-16 03:40:00 | you most likly have onboard video that shares the main memory . in this case it's borrowed 8meg from the main ram which is why it only reports 184 . >exclamation mark showing beside "system board exten for ACPI BIOS unless you are having problems don't worry about it . if you are having problems just post details of problem and system . |
