| 71481 | 2002-08-17 00:55:00 | It's just occurred to me that I did not insulate the motherboard from the case when I installed it (I have just discovered the little screw thingies which are supposed to keep the motherboard hovering slightly above the case. Obviously, the tracks on the bottom of the motherboard have been shorted as a result. This means that I have probably killed the motherboard (and the CPU might be dead as well), but I'll try reinstalling the motherboard correctly before I replace it. Boy do I feel stupid now. :) |
