71330 2002-08-15 22:08:00 Hi, got a new ADSL external modem and as the new XP driver was not part of the package I had to download it. After that I deleted to old driver restarted PC and tried the new driver. No success and only get the following when I run setup: Unhandled Exception Error Number 0x80040703 - Description: Failed to find dll funtion: GSPNDLL.dllLogTrace.

I have asked Dynalink helpdesk for advise and we have tried with new driver but without success. They do not know what to do next. Can any of you help please!

Cheers

To check before very that the access remote network is correctly installed (present) in your ordi.

If the ARD is installed, it is necessary to go in the double Working station then to click on the Hard Disk (C:)

For Windows 98/98SE:
To click on small Posting Options of the files then on longlet Posting.

For Windows ME/2000 & XP:
To click on the small Tools Options of the files then on longlet Posting.

To notch the box "To post all the files" then to validate by OK.

Double to click on Program Files.

To select the file "InstallShield Information Installation" then to remove the file
C7b39b40-52c3-11d4-afce-00e0b813åâ (Edition To remove or by the Suppr key of the keyboard) and only this one. Not to touch with the other files which could be in this place

Then, To seek and re-elect the files "gspndll.dll" and "instdll.dll" on the hard disk.

Reinstaller then pilots ECI.

it will undoubtedly go.

71335 2002-08-17 02:06:00 Hi, is an external Dynalink ADSL modem Scuba (1514)
71336 2002-08-17 02:07:00 Thanks! I will give it a go and let you know. Scuba (1514)
71337 2002-08-17 02:32:00 What model is it ? The common Dynalink is the RTA210. That doesn't basically need drivers, it gets accessed via your browser (IE or what ever) by entering the IP address 192.168.1.1. Configuartion of the 'modem' happens there.

71338 2002-08-19 06:00:00 Dear Crunn

On the installation disk it mentions Driver release 1.08. I would therefore assume that it does require a driver... It is a ALEO070 ADSL external.

Cheers

71339 2002-08-19 08:00:00 If you search on Google using GSPNDLL you will get others (using a different named modem) asking the same question and getting solutions. godfather (25)
