| 71762 | 2002-08-22 23:48:00 | I agree dipstick - I might also point out that there was a recent post on how difficult it was to uninstall ZoneAlarms off your computer - see that thread here (pressf1.co.nz) And on that topic - it may pay to unistall and then re-install Norton's Personal Firewall. I've noticed that it doesn't interact nicely with some of my apps that need to access the internet (ie. MusicMatch JukeBoxPlus), and has to be turned off when I use them. So make sure you don't have anything running in the system tray or on auto-start that needs to access the Net - this may cause a conflict with the firewall. The Sharkmeister |
