72054 2002-08-17 23:38:00 Perhaps Tweak'e, it has to be done in two stages, firstly uninstal IE4, which will take Win95C back to Win95B almost, leaving it with IE3, and then try Eradicator.

But I think it was designed for use with Win98, I used the earlier WIN 98 Lite techniques for removing IE before Eradicator was available and that worked ok from memory, but thought why bother, now Ive just gone back to Win95 again almost.

72055 2002-08-17 23:52:00 There's a better program for removing all versions of IE from UR HD.

It's called Linux.

72056 2002-08-18 03:24:00 thx terry. i got it suz. just had to tidy up theleftovers ;-) btw how do you uninstall IE4, theres no option to. tweak'e (174)
72057 2002-08-18 03:51:00 Well, there was in Add/Remove in the Win95C I recently installed on a friends comp and played around with. I uninstalled IE4 and Win95C reverted to what looked exactly like Win95B.

On the Win95C CD there is a whole heap of separate IE4 cab files, it's quite different to earlier Win95, or even win98.

Cant explain why you wouldnt have that option it's another Win oddity, I reckon.
