1310252 2012-11-03 04:35:00 For anyone wanting to reinstall Windows XP, there is a site that contains various peoples versions of the Windows updates, it saves downloading a zillion updates from Microsoft.
www.ryanvm.net

I just used one update package today from this site to slipstream Windows XP Pro SP3 32 bit that had been successively slipstreamed in the past from first release through SP1, SP2 and SP3, so now it is effectively SP4 with the updates current as at 9th October.

They have an integrator program RMVI that does the job for you very effectively and can also make the ISO for burning to disk.

I used this update package from here made by 'user_hidden' www.ryanvm.net and used the 'SP4' disc to reinstall XP on my old Athlon backup computer.

When fired up with auto updates on, just 2 updates had to be downloaded.

I reckon it is a pretty neat site, though it takes a bit of understanding to start with.

1310254 2012-11-03 04:45:00 I used to use this (www.ryanvm.net) with RyanVM integrator and Nlite. In XP mode, using Win7. Easy as to slipstream. I also used the remove addon files, from this guys skydrive page. To remove the crap that I didnt need, before I created the ISO

The file gets updated every mth. After the updates have come out

Its good because it includes the security updates, the .net framework files and its updates, and WMP and its updates
