| 1285763 | 2012-07-04 00:10:00 | Mrs Micro and I were in a restaurant with friends and we were showing off our knowledge of German words. Like zeitgeist, stromabnehmer, and of course, schadenfreude - which someone thought might be a type of wine. This inspired the following fantasy The waiter comes up to the table and asks if we would like more wine. "Yes. Bring me a bottle of your finest German schadenfreude, please." The table-guests laugh but the young man is perplexed. He goes a little pink! "I'm sorry, sir. We don't have any of that." "What! I was really looking forward to some schadenfreude..." "Sorry, sir." "...and you tell me you don't have any?" "Yes, sir. I mean, no, sir." "Not even out the back?" "Sorry, sir." The table-guests are laughing their heads off. Eventually the poor guy is sent off to get some house red and tend his wounds. Now, wouldn't that be a great scene for Seinfeld  |

| 1285767 | 2012-07-04 01:09:00 | May explain why I've never followed Seinfeld ... cutting New York Jewish humour doesn't work without canned laughter or someone holding up a sign saying "Laugh" ... | WalOne (4202) | ||
